Writing books is not the main source of income of foreign exchange (FOREX) educator, money manager and proprietary trader Rob Booker, but he has written several books to help people better understand the world of FOREX. Some of his books contain topics that he discusses when he trains FOREX traders across the universe, which include the discussion of discipline, psychological, and mental issues associated with trading.
Before concentrating on FOREX, he was engaged in several jobs, including printing T-shirts, running an electronic-commerce company, establishing an advertising company, teaching Italian language, selling magazines, and practicing law. No one will ever think that successful FOREX educator Rob Booker was terminated from all these jobs mentioned. It was only when he had the opportunity to talk to successful FOREX traders that he got inspired to become a full-fledged FOREX trader as well. His success in FOREX earned him the monikers "Motley Fool of Foreign Exchange" and "Prime Minister of Pips."
One of the FOREX books he has written is titled "Adventures of a Currency Trader." This is actually a work of fiction wherein Rob Booker effectively incorporated lessons he has learned in currency trading. The main character in this book is named Harry Banes, an independent currency trader who seems to commit all kinds of trading mistakes. Nevertheless, Banes becomes better and better in his craft by learning from his own mistakes and by conversing with experienced traders who seem to direct him to the right path. This FOREX book is ideal for beginners as it will prevent them from getting discouraged if they commit mistakes. Book critics recommend this book because of its humor and the uniqueness of Rob Booker in encouraging currency traders to enhance their skills.
"The Currency Trader's Handbook" is a nonfiction FOREX book written by Rob Booker. The topics covered in this book include trading systems, strategies for money management, and the development of mental toughness to succeed in the trading environment. "The Currency Trader's Handbook" is originally an electronic-book that Rob Booker has turned into a hard copy for people who are interested in reading it in a book form. This book has one hundred sixteen pages.
Aside from writing FOREX books, Rob Booker is also engaged in FOREX sessions posted on the Web site www.fxstreet.com. One of his sessions is titled "Rob Booker Recommends What Trading Books You Should Read." This is actually a question-and-answer session transcript that recommends FOREX books written by other authors, recommends FOREX strategies, and suggests ways of choosing FOREX books. Among the FOREX books recommended by Rob Booker are the book series written by author Jack D. Schwager titled "Market Wizards: Interviews With Top Traders," "The New Market Wizards: Conversations With America's Top Traders" and "Stock Market Wizards: Interviews With America's Top Stock Traders."
These contributions made by Rob Booker to the FOREX industry are expected to encourage other traders to do well in their job.
